This product took advantage of innovations in social and mobile connectivity to create a cross-platform entertainment experience designed to promote the fun and excitement of one of Mattel's most iconic brands.  Based on the popular board game, Apples to Apples: A Bushel of Fun allowed users the one-of-a-kind opportunity to engage each other in real-time play regardless of platform; redefining the way that we experience gameplay and the opportunities to interact across digital access points.  

Built upon the foundation of a sophisticated rewards program, a dual-currency system allowed users to unlock a host of fun rewards including cool new apple avatars (which we designed at ImaginEngine), exciting new cards (which allowed them to change the dynamic of play), limited-edition holiday skins, and much much more.  Innovative mechanics like rich interactive Facebook posts and cross-platform messaging systems helped make sure that the brand was always at the forefront, allowing users to share in the fun even when they weren't engaged in the game itself.
